On 4th October 2025, DB Tech Ganapathy Centre organized an insightful industrial visit to Cognizant Technology Solutions, Saravanampatty, Coimbatore, for trainees from the AI Data Quality Analyst – Batch 1 & 2 and IT Customer Care Executive courses. The visit, spanning from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, included 38 participants—34 candidates, three trainers, and Mr. Vidhin Krishna, Tamil Nadu Assistant Manager. The primary aim of the visit was to provide students with firsthand industry exposure, practical insights, and a deeper understanding of professional work environments.

The day commenced with an engaging session led by Mr. B. Shiva Shankar, Manager at Cognizant Technology Solutions, on “Jobs of the Future.” Participants gained a fascinating overview of emerging trends in the IT industry, potential career paths for freshers, and the critical importance of continuous skill development to stay relevant in a rapidly evolving corporate landscape. This was followed by an interactive session with Mr. M. Lalit Shekar, Junior Executive, who provided practical guidance on creating compelling LinkedIn profiles, navigating job applications, and cultivating effective professional networks. The morning session concluded at 1:30 PM, after which participants enjoyed a lunch hosted by Cognizant.

The afternoon session, beginning at 2:30 PM, focused on the essentials of resume building and mock interviews. Facilitated by Ms. B. Subapriya, Ms. R. Thiagavathi, Mr. B. Shiva Shankar, and Mr. M. Lalit Shekar, participants were divided into four groups for personalized mentoring. Each group received constructive feedback on resumes, strategies for error-free professional documentation, and tips for presenting themselves confidently. This session also included dynamic group discussions that enhanced analytical thinking and communication skills, followed by mock interviews that offered invaluable practical experience and boosted confidence.

The visit concluded on a high note with a group photograph, interactive Q&A sessions, and valuable feedback from the students. The experience left a lasting impression on participants, providing them with not only a glimpse into corporate culture but also a deeper understanding of career opportunities, industry expectations, and the significance of adaptability in the IT sector.
