A guest lecture was conducted by Don Bosco Tech alumna Ms Baiahunlang Kharmawlong, currently working as a Systems and Administrative Manager at Pumpkin Tales, Chennai.

During the session, Ms Baiahunlang shared her inspiring professional journey, tracing her growth from a trainee in Food & Beverage Service to her present managerial role. She spoke candidly about the challenges and obstacles she encountered along the way and how determination, continuous learning and perseverance helped her progress in her career.

Drawing from her own experience, she encouraged the trainees to develop the right attitude and personality while remaining committed to hard work, dedication and perseverance. She also highlighted the importance of having passion for one’s work and maintaining a positive outlook while pursuing career goals.

The session concluded with an interactive question-and-answer segment, during which trainees raised questions about workplace expectations, career growth and professional challenges. Ms Baiahunlang responded by sharing practical guidance and insights from her own experience.

The interaction offered trainees an opportunity to learn directly from the journey of a Don Bosco Tech alumna and motivated them to approach their careers with confidence, commitment and a willingness to grow.
