An industrial visit was organized for the trainees of AI Data Quality Analyst and Cloud Application Developer courses from Don Bosco Tech Vaduthala to Cognizant on 24th February 2026. The primary objective of the visit was to provide students with industry exposure, enhance their understanding of corporate work culture, and connect their classroom learning with real-world applications. 

The visit began with an introductory session conducted by the Cognizant team, where students were given a comprehensive overview of the company. The session covered the origin and growth of Cognizant, its global presence, major milestones, and key achievements in the IT and digital services sector. The speakers also explained the various domains in which Cognizant operates, giving students a broader perspective on career opportunities in the IT industry. 

Following the introductory session, an engaging workshop on resume building and interview preparation was conducted. The session focused on how to create a professional resume, present skills effectively, and prepare for technical as well as HR interviews. The trainers also shared valuable tips on communication skills, body language, and confidence building, which are essential for securing employment in reputed organizations. 

The final segment of the visit included a guided tour of the Cognizant centre. Students had the opportunity to observe the workplace environment, including different departments, collaborative spaces, and employee engagement clubs. They gained insights into the company’s work culture, teamwork practices, and employee welfare initiatives. The visit to various sections of the facility helped students understand how a professional IT workspace functions. 

Overall, the industrial visit was highly informative and inspiring for the students. It enhanced their knowledge about the IT industry, motivated them to prepare for their careers, and provided them with practical exposure to a leading corporate environment.
