Faculty Training by Wadhwani Foundation

The Wadhwani Foundation Faculty Orientation Program was successfully conducted from 15th December 2025 to 17th December 2025at Bosco Reach Out, Ulubari, Guwahati, marking a significant step toward strengthening instructional excellence and trainer capacity. The program was facilitated by Mrs. Swathi, an esteemed resource person from the Wadhwani Foundation, whose expertise and engaging delivery enriched the learning experience.

A total of 21 trainers representing the Dimapur, Shillong and Guwahati provinces actively participated in the orientation. The primary objective of the program was to develop, assess, and certify trainers, equipping them with contemporary pedagogical approaches aligned with industry and learner needs.

The training comprehensively covered critical themes such as the distinction between soft skills and hard skills, identification and analysis of skill gaps, and an in-depth understanding of the Wadhwani Foundation’s training methodology. Special emphasis was placed on modern instructional strategies including the flipped classroom model, structured lesson planning, and experiential learning techniques, enabling trainers to foster interactive, learner-centric environments.

The program concluded with an online assessment, designed to evaluate participants’ comprehension and readiness to implement the methodologies discussed. The orientation was met with enthusiastic participation and positive feedback, reflecting a high level of satisfaction among all trainers and reaffirming the program’s effectiveness and impact .
